The Event - Batavia Stad x Duran Lantink

AMSTERDAM FASHION WEEK & DURAN LANTINK

Fashion designer Duran Lantink collaborated with Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet for Amsterdam Fashion Week’s fourth edition. For this event, a vacant building in the city center of Amsterdam was transformed into a funfair. Lantink selected young talents to work on a collection centered around sustainability, by using Batavia Stad’s dead stock. One of the talents, Vivian Zandhuis, repainted the clothes with Van Gogh as main source of inspiration. After the occasion, Zandhuis showed her collection at the Van Gogh Museum for another week. 8 The Agency was in charge of the coordination of the event.
